Sunday Morning Adult Electives
DCC believes that growing in Christ is proportional to both studying God’s Word and being in fellowship with other believers. That’s why we encourage all attendees to 1) Do2 and 2) be a part of a Small Group. Do2 refers to attending both hours on Sunday morning. You worship one hour, and either attend an Adult Elective class or serve the other hour. Below is a listing of either current and/or upcoming Adult Elective classes.

Women’s Class Room 101 (Library)
Join our ladies as they study various books of the Bible and topics. Meet new
friends & grow your faith! The class is currently studying Colossians & Philemon.

NEW Class for Men & Women begins January 8th! Room 212
Dick Smith & Scott Phinney will lead a new class for men and women at 9:00 a.m.,
and their first study will be the very life applicable book of James. James offers
great wisdom, yet is very challenging…it will grow your faith!

Starting January 8th: Dave Ramsey’s very popular Financial Peace
University at a special time…10:15 a.m. More than 1.5 million families have attended
FPU with amazing results. Jeff & Julie Rayis facilitators. Cost is $ 99 for
the kit. Need-based scholarships are available. Pre-register by contacting Jim

Starting April 1st: Sacred Marriage. Jim Brechbuhler will lead Sacred
Marriage which will focus on finding or increasing joy and intimacy by honoring
God in your marriage. Author/speaker Gary Thomas featured on DVD.
Room 101 (Library)
Starting January 8th: Understanding, Giving & Receiving Forgiveness.
Debbie Crouso will teach on one of the most foundational Christian doctrines, forgiveness.
The class will focus on what forgiveness is and isn’t, how to give
and receive it, and also how to forgive oneself.
Starting March 4th: What They Believe. What do your neighbors, friends and/
or co-workers believe? Dave Huddle will teach a 4 week overview of Islam, Hinduism,
Buddhism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Mormonism.
Starting April 1st: Creation Short-Course. Dave Huddle’s 8-week class will
focus on the scientific evidence of Biblical creation, the impact of evolution on
our culture, and how parents & grandparents can help children sort out the truth.
Room 212 Digging Deeper Bible Class
Monte’s class delves deep into various books of the Bible and topics. Jump in any
time! Monte breaks down passages verse-by-verse to find the real meaning of a
passage.
The Family Class – Chapel Keith Bumgarner and Gary Angel teachers.
Starting January 8th: Growing a Spiritually Strong Family. Various topics
will be discussed to help your family grow to be a spiritually strong family.
Starting March 4th: Key Passages in the Home. Come study some of the
most helpful passages to bring about God-honoring peace and wisdom to the home.
Starting April 1st: Sharing Your Faith. Every Christian is called to share their
faith, but this can be one of the hardest things to do. How do you do it in
the workplace or to family members or neighbors who resist your efforts?
